I use glass bowls a lot in the microwave and am always burning my hands or using T towels that end up in the bowl itself, had loads of accidents, This product alleviates all of that as you can simply take it out of the microwave with the bowl or small plate on it and and place it safely wherever needed, if I am using the bowl for soup I use it as a tray to eat from the bowl.

Now if we could only have one that would fit under a medium size dinner plate...
